I love this jacket, so let's get the bad stuff out of the way: Carhartt let us women down in a big way in the pockets department! There NO interior pockets, and the main front pockets are too open and shallow to securely hold much of anything. For example, there's no way I'd carry my iPhone 7 Plus in the front pockets for a dog walk; it would fit, but I'd worry it would flop out when I moved, bent over, etc. There are two chest pockets with snaps, but if you put anything that's not completely flat in them, they bulge out in a really weird way because the pocket is directly over "the girls"! I sew, and will be adding TWO interior pockets in that "sweet spot" at ribcage level--not at the bust and not at the stomach/waist. This isn't rocket science, and Carhartt should've gotten it right. That said, I decided to keep the jacket because I really LOVE the fabric (I got the grey/black/brown plaid) and the cut. The two adjuster tabs at the back waist keep things from looking just huge and boxy, and overall it's a nice weight and well made. I don't like my clothes to restrict my movement, so I sized up to an XL/16-18 whereas I'd normally wear a 12 or possibly a 14 (I'm almost 5'7", 165-170 lbs., 38D.) The sleeves weren't goofy-long, even though I sized up. I really like the fact that this is a more subtle plaid than the ubiquitous buffalo check. I feel like I could totally wear this in the city, paired with jeans, a long-sleeved black t-shirt, and some cute black booties.Bought this for my 83-year-old mother who is always cold. She loves it and wears it all the time she says it keeps her very warmI already have one of these jackets. Have worn it for two years in the "shoulder" seasons of spring/fall working outdoors. It has shown very little sign of use. Hence, why I ordered a second anticipating at some point my original will start to wear out. Quality, attractive product worth the money. Perfect fit. I am 5'9" and weigh 124 lbs. I have trouble finding sleeves that fit. I ordered a size small and sleeves are a good length. Shipped fast.very warm and nice for Fall weather!This is a high quality and very comfortable shirt jacket. It has a relaxed fit that is perfect for accommodating layers, and the waist can be cinched with a handy little snap feature at the back. It is very warm and I can tell that this is going to be able to handle many years of farm and yard work. The only thing I don't like is that the sleeves are not lined with the same sherpa as the rest of the shirt, but rather a silky, nylon type material. If you are wearing long sleeves under the shirt jacket, I don't see the nylon lining being much of an issue, but if for some reason you are wearing short sleeves under this, any sweat would stay on the skin and feel sticky and gross. I wish the sherpa went down the arms as well, but it is a small complaint, since I don't think I would wear this with short sleeves any way.I did not expect the lining to be so thick, but it fits nicely, and my daughter loves it.I did not find anything that I disliked about this productLove the pockets!
