I have five of these tops, all the same sizing and this one seems to be closer to an xxxl than an xxl. It is still a really comfortable top. I wear it gardening, or under my motorcycle jacket. It is super easy to wash and wear.Highly recommend and I will probably buy more.I wear them in the heat (100F) as well for some long sleeve sun protection.The glove sleeve is handy for cold days and the zip neck for warmth but not so tight you feel like your chokingReally wanted to love this but I bought black for work and I got gray not black...I read the reviews so I knew it was a light layer despite being called a “jacket.” And it fits great. But it truly is about the thickness and weight of a t-shirt. Carhartt marketers really need to rename this clothing article.Edit 2 weeks later:After two washings, the collar lays funny which makes it look cheaper than it is. And the shirt really is quite thin. I wouldn’t buy it again.Happy with Half zip at neck for temp control, thumb hole are discrete in cuffs, hefty fabric but breathable, handy for travel, active lifestyle or work, and camping. I plan to purchase a few more of these shirts. My new go-to top when I want long sleeves. The black is more of a dark grey. It's a versatile color. I have one in pretty much every color. The sleeves are a little longer and the body is a bit long and slim which I love. My message to Carhartt...don't change the fit on this shirt at all. It's perfect.Not to heavy but keeps warm, nice to wear with a warm vest
