Inspired by the demands of pig farming, these women's Carhartt leggings combine the flex and durability you need to get the job done. They're made of thick stretch-fabric that dries quickly and resists odor.

At first glance, they felt durable. The material is thick and appear to be able to withstand a working woman’s job. I currently have an office job with very little physical demanding job duties. I’ve worn these a number of 2 times and washed them as recommended on the tag. I was highly disappointed when I realized the stitching in the crotch and butt area seemed to be separating from the material. The designed team need to brainstorm this issues. Carhartt is the poster child for the physically demanding working people and durability to withstand these tasks is a must. Insult to injury is the cost of their clothing. A little higher than most but for the durability some considered worth it.Maybe I got a faulty pair. Hope you guys have better luck. The construction seems to be generally fantastic. On the fence about a couple of things:1. The "olive" color is really an olive-tinged forest green. YMMV as to whether that's what you want or not. I don't, really. It's a nice color for what it is, just not what I'd call olive.2. The reinforced knees, both in photos and in person, are situated lower on the pants than knees are on actual people, meaning that when I bend my knees I'm still feeling constrained because the extra fabric that is supposed to accomodate them is actually a good 1.5 inches or more below where it should be. In the photos on Carhartt's site, the reinforced area is higher up and closer to the bottom edge of the front pockets. So something is different between the photographed design and the one Amazon, at least, is selling. I had to pull them up a bit more than makes sense or looks best, in order to get the knees lined up a little better. I don't think this is me having an anatomical anomaly, either. Something changed about their placement at Carhartt's end, judging by the photos. Perhaps there's a reason for this, but I'm not sure what it is.These Carhartt pants are a lifesaver in the below freezing temps we’ve had the past two years. I have to be out in the cold feeding and watering horses and mucking stalls. I wear exercise leggings underneath. The Carhartts keep me warm and dry like I’ve never experienced, even in Arctic wind and sleet! I bought a second pair because I’m so impressed.I bought these for my wife put in for the size chart and said here use these bought it and it didn't fit there too big another thing they are not that comfortable they are definitely durathey're definitely durable but they're made out of a very thick you know carheart materialMy friend has these same pants and I loved them so much when I wore hers that I wanted to order myself a pair. She had the size small and they fit me perfectly. Naturally I ordered a small and they’re a bit bigger than how hers fit. Maybe once I wash them they will hopefully shrink a little bit. If not I will order an xsmall. These pants are perfect for me since I work in an equipment shop and winter is slowly approaching so hopefully I stay warm! I’d definitely recommend these pants, maybe size down a bit if anything. And I did get the size long as I’m 5’7” and that’s how I order my jeans since I like the length..these were a bit too long but still fine.I started by ordering a medium, usually a safe bet for me with leggings. When they arrived it said on the tag that medium is 8/10, so I knew immediately they’d be too big. I exchanged for a small tall (4/6) and they fit wonderfully. I love the way they feel, the pockets, the reinforced knees, the stretch is great for yoga and they’re tough enough to wear at my job working in a barn with hay and tons of dirt. The material is tough enough and they place the pockets just right to make them not look like you’re wearing yoga pants at work. My only complaint is the Carhartt logo should be in a different spot, it just looks like a sticker is in your butt at first, it’d be nice if they adjusted the placement to near the waistband instead. But ladies, these are both yoga pants with pockets and real work pants you can finally be comfortable in!I was really excited to try these. I was on the hunt for a pair of travel pants with the following requirements: long inseam, quick dry, pockets, easy to dress up/down, skinny/slim fit, and comfortable. There really are not many options -- especially because of the long inseam requirement. These pretty much tick all my boxes. They are a little baggy in the leg and just a tad tight on the waist, but that's how my body weight is distributed. I wish the rise was a little higher and that the waist had a little more give/stretch. But these will definitely be a staple in my travel wardrobe. 5'8", 135 lbs.You need to size down, I wear an 8 but returned them for size small which fits. I have a 34 inseam so these don't go over my ankle, wish it was a bit taller, but they fit fine enough that I'm keeping them. With all that said I love the material and I'm considering getting another pair. I spend a lot of time outside and highly recommend them to friends who do the same.I work in logging and I have but few complaints about these leggings. Love the appearance minus the wide spread back pockets. The colours are great. Look spectacular with a pair of gum boots or socks and sandals. Have not attempted with any other forms of footwear. The first day I got them, I attempted a power slide - for those of you that don’t know what that is, it is when a rockstar slides on their knees while playing the guitar. I used my air guitar and went right into the solo. Unfortunately, the knees melted little holes in the outer material immediately following the power slide. But they do hold up to walking through Alberta wild rose bushes and fumbling over fallen trees. Not attempted with devil’s club plant but I imagine they would offer some protection from that beast. My only other complaint is that they retain the smell of what I can only equate to being from flatulence. I have washed them to attempt to remove the smell but it remains. I have checked my underwear to ensure I did not in fact confuse some gas for a solid. Should I perhaps build in a scent shield made of dryer sheets or perfume?Overall, I love these pants and would purchase again. For reference, I am 5’7” with 34” waist, 43” hip and 25.75” thigh. I typically wear a size 12 or large and am 180-185 lbs.I bought these after seeing a friend wearing them. I’m constantly in the barn, and wanted them for chores instead of jeans. They’re really cute and have reinforcements in all the right places. I used the sizing information and went with a size xs regular. The length is fine but I find the fit a bit odd. The waist band seam is quite tight - uncomfortably so, as if there’s no enough stretch. They fit perfectly through the thighs to the knees and then they get loose. I have xs Carhartt overhauls and they fit well, and are almost too big. If I had gone up to a small, the tights would be baggy from the hips down, so I think they’re just not quite made for my body type. I’ll keep them and wear them but they won’t be my go to like I was hoping.I wear these for carring brick. blocks and stones, splitting firewood and clearing brush. They are great. Comfortable and appear to be tough, although I did get a small tear when I caught the ankle on a corner of a metal roof panel while walking past it. The side pocket is perfect for carrying my cell phone while working without worry of crushing it.I had bought these pants/leggings for work (construction/building) and riding. They are made of good, sturdy material that will hold up well for both activities. The pockets are in the right places. Unfortunately, the large was way too small for me, I couldn't get them on, so I returned them. Definitely going to get a few pairs after I lose some weight.Overall product felt great. I thought because it was a new product with high expectations for durability I would need to size up. I usually wear a XXL in leggings, XXL size Carhartt fits better. XXL Tall doesn’t go past my knee.
