I live where we get 300” of snow every winter and temps stay under freezing for 3+ months straight. I own a lot of kinds of winter gloves and these are my go-to snow removal work gloves. I use them while running snow removal equipment and shoveling/scooping, and sometimes while dealing with firewood. Good dexterity vs bulk, having the “ballistic” protection is nice, and they’re comfortable. They’re not for high-dexterity fine-motor skills kinda tasks, and it’s silly to expect winter gloves to fill that role, but I run small machinery and power tools with zero problems. Also no issues running a chain saw or handling a splitting maul. I like these enough that I spent the money to buy a new pair when I lost one from the first pair. I would say they run on the small size, the XLs are more like L+.
