I love this jacket!! I have tried so many different jackets that I had begun to lose hope that I would find one jacket that would fit all my needs. I own a tree service and need a jacket that had plenty of stretch for when I'm wearing a fall arrest harness while in the bucket. I also need it to be warm but breathable and not too bulky. It also needs to be rugged enough to stand up to grabbing rough bark logs in the rain and tossing them down to the ground. Every jacket I have tried before failed in at least one of these important areas. If it was stretchy and breathable the outer shell was too soft and was damaged the first time I slid a log off of it. Others that were rugged enough either didn't stretch, were too bulky, didn't breathe or any combination of the above. The tree climbing jackets I own that are designed for durability, flexibility, and breath-ability are not warm enough and don't have a hood. And above all, only one other jacket that I found was available in tall sizes. I'm 6' 2" and every regular size jacket the sleeves are too short.The only thing that is slightly negative that would agree with other reviews is that the hood is a little big and can hang over your eyes at times without a helmet. But it gives me the ability to wear it with my climbing helmet.All in all...I love this jacket. It meets all my needs. Fits very well. Great job again Carhartt!!I did alot of research in determining the best hooded jacket for me. I work outside at cemeteries all year long.I needed a coat that was somewhat waterproof wind resistant and not to warm. I have found it best to layer to keep warm.I must say i have used the coat in temps from 30 to 13 and am pleased with it. I purchased a large tall which i normally would get a large but find it easier to move and add additional layers with this. I like the chest pocket for my phone.The pockets are fleece lined along with much of the coat. The hood sticks out in the front a little too far but like it when its windy and cold.So far i have been very pleased.I got this for my husband for Christmas, and he just loves it. Warm, waterproof, and very flexible fabric. He's 6'5", so we had to go for the 2x so the arms would be long enough for him, and this way he can layer under it as well. He is a maintenance man for a living, so all of the inside pockets come in handy for all of his tools and other supplies. He had been looking at this jacket at a local hardware store in town who sold it for $150, we got a much better deal on Amazon.The fact that a big and tall size was offered was such a money saver! We normally buy things two size bigger just to fit, having the extra length was exactly what was needed. The jacket fits my fiance perfectly and he loves itThe only thing I have an issue with this jacked is the chest pocket location. I would prefer a vertical zipper pocket as opposed to the horizontal. Other than that this is a great jacket, well worth the purchase.Carhartt makes nice friends of jackets and outerwearnice jacket I like those water resistant and wind resistant anything that Carhartt makes it will last forever so yes I would definitely recommend this jacket. it was a little expensive but it was worth the money because it will last me a long time.always buy Carhartt brand jackets because I think that is the best company around jackets & outerweartheir products are a little pricey it's worth the money because they make lasting product. It looks thin but will definately hold in the heat.I wear this coat in the morning while shoveling roofs off in 20-30 degree weather. It keeps me warm and the integrated hood keeps the snow off of my neck when I am on the bottom of the ladder. Plent of storage pockets inside and out, 3 out 2 inside. The zipper pockets are also nice. Machine washable, and I have run it through once already. Seems like quality material on a coat that should last years of heavy use.Wir haben die Jacke vor Jahren mal in USA erworben und nun die Gelegenheit wahrgenommen, sie online zu bestellen. Die Jacke ist mit der Jacke, die wir vor Jahren gekauft hatten, identisch. Die "alte" Jacke ist bereits zig-mal in der Maschine gewaschen und im Trockner getrocknet. Sie ist nach wie vor absolut wind- und wasserdicht. Das einzige Problem, das wir hatten, waren nach zwei Jahren die Klettverschlüsse zur Verstellung der Ärmelweite. Die konnten von der Schneiderin aber ganz leicht für 5,00€ ersetzte werden. Super funktionale, hochwerige Softshell-Jacke! Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut - da können Jack Wolfskin & Co nicht mit.ich finde diese Jacke sehr schön vom stoff hersie ist aber größer als XXL und wenn man sie mit anderen Softshell jacken wie z.b. Jack Wolfskin oder ICEPEAK vergleicht ist sie viel größer als deren angaben ich tipp auf echtes XXXL außer in der längesie ist dicker vom stoff was ich als sehr positiv empfinde manche jedoch vielleicht störtSuper verarbeitet, Ärmel etwas weit, sitzt sonst bequem, ich bin 1,93 m und wiege 120 KG, absolut Wasserdicht, nicht für Temperaturen über 15° C
